Our snowboard service department is in the back this year. We’ve got the ginder all fired up and ready to go.  New files, a new core repair gun, and the block of wax are all ready to go.

Suggestions for wax

The SingleTrack Factory has chosen to exclusively carry One ball Jay waxed and tuning equipment.  We have tested many kinds – you know the story (“Where’s brian? Oh he is out product testing…”). Besides our painstaking primary research, we have also listened very carefully to customer feedback.  Nothing excites us more than we hear from our customers “man, that was like riding a brand new snowboard”.

1). New Boards – don’t forget to have your initial board wax done asap after getting the board.  Many bases are coming from the factory waxed or infused, but nothing beats melting and cooling 6-10 times before riding.  This really cuts down the need to wax as often later on.

2). Now until Thankgiving – One ball Jay all temp, race, or hard flouro, mixed with graphite down the edges – works great in man made (and already this year) works great in natural snow that is warm (early season)

3). Thanksgiving til end of January – One ball Jay cold wax.

Snowboard and Ski Tuneups – (really want this one to jump out – want my service sales to increase)
Our goal is to make your snow toy work the best it can. When you are on the mountain and take a wrong turn Adam and Joe want you to be able to make it down that catwalk without skating – and think of them.  Our Wax is $15, and Full Tune (sharpen and wax) is $30.

We feature:
1). Hand tunes – Let’s face it.  Some things are done better by people who are craftsmen.  It costs more, but you get what you pay for. Why wear down you ride with unnecessary grinds if you don’t need to.  We offer repairs on impact damage to sidewalls, core shot repair, P tex drips, and Nose/Tail impacts.

2). Machine tunes – Rails and terrain parks, not to mention early season rope ducking can get your skis or deck in a wreck.  We own a Grindrite grinder to take care of the big stuff.

3). The highest quality waxes – yes, we test it for temperature and blend.  Custom blended waxes available – choose from cold, all temp, warm, graphite and speed waxes.
