ABOUT US
Mission
The Singletrack Factory is a small pro shop located in Central Denver. Started in 1997, our goal is to provide the best service and the best selection in the region. It can be a stressful world, so our goal is to help you find the best toy you can.
The philosophy is simple. We don’t want you to pay for any corporation’s marketing budgets or bad business practices. That is why we carry the brands that we carry. All the brands we carry care about the product (how it rides, how it is built and how it works), and about service. We sell most of our bicycles through our storefront in denver, but we have many satisfied customers throughout the entire country, even in Europe, Australia and Canada.
History
The SingleTrack Factory was started from scratch by Brian in early 1997, with 4 bare walls and carpet. Brian desired a change from the corporate world, so he started The SingleTrack Factory.
The original idea was simple. Provide great service and have high quality products that help our customers have more fun.
We are now entering our 12th year of operation and have the best staff we have ever had. We carry a very strong lineup of products – from vendors that have same idea we do – keep the price reasonable, and have the best performing product.
Thank you to all of our customers for your business in the past, and we look forward to serving you in the future!!!

Message from owner: Overview for year – Brian’s Overview. 2009 was a pesky little year wasn’t it. Here are a few highlights for the year… -Top 4 Yeti dealer -DH and Cross Country race teams performed well. -No staff turnover - something that always makes a business a good one or a great one. -Had full compliment of demo bikes at Sol Vista. -Had some great demos on trail at apex and at green mtn. The weather was kind to our timing, and we were able to conduct our demos in decent weather. Usually, we will pick 6 demos for spring/summer hoping weather will allow 4 to actually happen.
In 2009 prices of bikes were going up. At that same time the economy did what it did. The good news is that if you put off purchasing your new dream bike, prices have come down for bicycles in 2010. Back to great value from cruisers and fixies, to roadies and front range mountain bikes.
We continue to only carry smaller “niche brands”. Something that seems to be unusual these days when the trend is to become a concept store.
This shop will never be a single brand “concept store”. We seek to provide you the best products at your desired price point whether you are riding a $300 cruiser, or a $7000 custom Downhill rig.
We want brands that are unique and products you are asking for, not products that a manufacturer tells us to carry.
For 2010, we made some enhancements to our merchandising mix. Ibis came on board in June, and Kona came on board in July of 2009. We feel that these brands will help us deliver to customers “fun to ride” bikes at all price points.
What else is new for 2010? -Gravity is growing – If you haven’t yet been to Sol Vista bike park or Trestle Bike Park in Winter Park, you are missing out. Tons of new trails and fun for all levels of riders. -lower prices – all but one of our brands went down in price for 2010. Up to 10% down for many. -The Yeti 5 – this bike rips! -look for our online store starting this year -yes, facebook… -We have 29ers from Ellsworth, Kona, Rocky Mountain, Raleigh
We truly want to thank you for your business and look forward to working with you this coming summer.
